@alx90x Whatever difficulties we may occasionally experience in the UK, US, France or any other rich nation and we do have problems, its simply not on the same level as the DRC for example. 'Its not our job to help' No ones suggesting we can do everything. But only a very cold individual would do nothing. Im unemployed- I still find means to help charity even if its on a small scale.

@zacgraffius Are you an American? Because its usually Americans who stubbornly substitute British with 'English'- its not one and the same. Anyway the main point here is poverty. Whilst I hint sarcasm in your comment, the statistics are genuinely alarming- 180 MILLION people died in the last decade from poverty.

They always make these for free - it grabs attention - don't pass judgement on others without knowing the facts - they did not become rich by chance or inherited the wealth they worked for it and remember you are still fortunate as compared to 1 billion kids who will go to sleep hungry - so do something do a charity walk. Remember Steve Jobs did not go to school either nor did Richard Branson - they both started from nothing!

@JackLivesTogether At least hey are doing something, and having celebs do it and having a powerful advert grabs peoples attention. It's about publicity of the make poverty history campaign and it is still a step in the right direction. and then you have the cheek to come on your computer and slag it off? and then have the cheek to complain you can't afford school! You have stuff like a computer and yet you still manage to complain (Y) well done, very constructive.
