don't lose your desire to get healthier, that is going to be key to your weight-loss, i agree with bikBBW, cutting out processed foods and those high in saturated fats is true, another key is exercise. if you don't like the idea of going to the gym then don't, walking is ideal in this case. start slow. don't try and go full pelt initially, go walking with friends and make it FUN!! picture yourself as you want to be and you can do it, everyone can if they put the effort in. best of luck my friend

what sours me is that obesity is completely and utterly preventable! there is no condition that generates fat, if you can name one then contact some sort of medical journal; people with Prada-Willi syndrome is not an exception. without intake of largely excessive amounts of food, you cannot become obese, simple as. what is key to tackling this issue is education, especially in the young. food needs to be viewed differently and a healthy and active lifestyle is absolutely key

For Amirr84 :First of all, excuse my english (i'm French).Obesity may be a pathology for some people who can not be cured with a simple diet.If you think people have weak wills to have such an operation, suffer, and eat only minimal quantities of food to life: sorry but you are an asshole. This surgery is a miracle and prolong many lives, both for people who have physical or mental pathologies towards food.

I know where u're coming from Kribaby76, as I too have a similar amount to lose but I have to agree with Diablos. It's very important to STOP eating salty foods. U DON'T have to eat Less to lose weight. Less calories doesn't equal less food. Eating more WHOLE FOODS & less process foods means U can eat like 10 plums for 1 chocolate bar. U can eat MORE when u cut out the processed foods. I know it's really hard giving up the foods that u love but it does works, I've already lost 50 lbs doing this.
