CHet was a fantastic guitar player and one of my earliest sources of inspiration - although I can't fingerpick at all...I see some people arguing who's "best". Well, "best" is an impossible description when it comes to guitar players.Fans of Chet should also check out the late, great ROBERT NORMANN - do a search here on YouTube and I'm sure you'll find something. He was the 'grand old man' of guitar here in Norway.

tommy is good...i think he's a bit of a wank though...just the way he plays.not saying hes shit like i think he's an awesome ' guitarist ' but as a person..mm and i love chet. he'll always be number one over this style of playing.in my opinion chet is way above tommy. way.

blah blah is right. I don't want to get into it on this forum. I always believe theres someone better, than everyone. that's why I don't like to see the 'chet is the best' comments. that's asking for debate. my opinion is just what it is. I don't like the guy personally even [emannuel], but he always managed to pull out some bullshit that seemed to blow everyone away. Chet sings better, how about that?
