I know someone personally who had this done, and have heard several other stories. The diet you have to follow after the surgery is so restrictive you might want to rethink getting this done! And the results aren't permanent if you don't follow the diet and stretch out your stomach again. It happened to Connie Wilson

For the people that say just eat right and exercise, ITS NOT THAT EASY!!! My insurance paid for my surgery in full, I would have had to pay $40 copays for each nutritionist visit. I had the surgery back in 2008 I started at 250lbs, my biggest ever was 282. I went down to 150lbs I kept it off until I got pregnant i went up to 185 and now 8 weeks after my daughter was born im about 165 i only have 15lbs left to lose all my baby weight. This surgery is not an easy out by all means.

the bad think of Bypass is that when they they make new surggery to get back to her normal stomack, they get all fat back and really fast.. that's the sadest part.. i've seen some really bad ceses, because i'm working in medecin institution.. just eat less thats all, and stop eathing Junk food..

this is the best advise you can offer. I have been walking for 10 months now and have shed 114lbs. I do have to watch what I eat also. You MUST exercise surery is not the answer. I know 4 people that have had it which is why I inquired. 3 of them are within sight of the same weight that they were pre surgeryI WON"T DO IT.... I was going to but I now know that it is not necessary.

walk 1 hour each day with a bit quick speed, + eat many "smaller" meals each day instead of a few big ones - and I'm sure you'll manage to loose weight :) remember to stay away from too much sugar.
