i got one about two months ago i'm still having to actively control myself otherwise i think i tend to cheat it. might be bored, losing bout 3/4 of a kilo a week with no exercise

I do get full now...the band helps you to get full faster because it forces you to eat slower so your body understands WHEN you get full. Don't worry...you'd think that it'll be hard but it isn't too bad actually :)

Yeah I wanted to make sure I could still have kids in my future...that was a BIG reason I chose to have the lap band done. :)

I'm sorry that you are not having as good of an experience as I was able to have. I have a close friend who really wants it too but her health insurance won't cover it :(
